Privacy policy

DoorSuper answers calls and texts for landlords and keeps their rental records. This policy covers what DoorSuper keeps, why, and who sees it.

What we keep

For each landlord, kept apart from every other landlord's:

• Their properties, doors, leases and rent records.
• Names, phone numbers and email addresses of their tenants, applicants and vendors.
• Calls and texts with the landlord's DoorSuper number: recordings, transcripts, the messages themselves and their summaries.
• Applications sent through the landlord's application link: name, email, phone, income, employer, the door applied for, and whether the applicant agreed to a screening report and to texts.
• The sign-in details of the landlord and anyone helping them: email, phone and a scrambled (hashed) password.

How we use it

Only to run DoorSuper for that landlord: to answer and reply to calls and texts, keep their records, send the messages they've set up or approved, and email an applicant the landlord's decision.

Who we share it with

The landlord it belongs to, and the service providers that carry DoorSuper's calls, texts and email and run the assistant that answers them. They use it only to provide that service to us. We don't sell personal information.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

How long we keep it

While the landlord uses DoorSuper, so they have their history. When a landlord stops using DoorSuper, or asks us to, we delete their records, except anything the law requires us to keep.

The waitlist

If you join the DoorSuper waitlist on this site, we keep what you give us: your email, and your name, phone, how many doors you rent out, what you keep your records in and your note if you add them. We use it only to contact you about DoorSuper. We never sell it or share it. To come off the list, email us and we delete it.

Analytics

These public pages use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, using cookies Google sets. It records things like the page, the time, your browser and roughly where you are, not who you are, and nothing you type into the waitlist form. The Owner and Staff screens and the rental application don't use it. To opt out, block cookies for this site or use Google's opt-out add-on.

Your choices

To stop texts, reply STOP to any text from DoorSuper (see the SMS terms). To see, correct or delete what's kept about you, ask the landlord you rent from or applied to, or email us.
